What others said is true. There has been lots of discussions on whether BMW will offer a X7M version like Mercedes does with its GLS 63 AMG. Like a M550i is not a M5!
The nomenclature is rather confusing with M and AMG badges on many regular model these days. Having said that X7 M50i's 0-60 in 4.5 sec is equivalent to the last generation GLS 63 AMG.
