Folks, I was bored today and visited the X5 forum. You might want to read this - especially if you are waiting on your new vehicle and are NOT a BMW CCA member YET but are planning on getting a rebate by signing up for the 3-year membership.
I was planning on signing up for BMW CCA in January to avoid the fee-increase and get the $1,000 check.

In short:
If you do not sign up 'til 12/31/2019 for the 3-year membership, you will have a 6 month wait in order to be eligible for a rebate.
If you sign up by the end of the month, you will be grandfathered and the 3 year membership is going to make you eligible without the wait.
So if you aren't a member yet and are planning on taking delivery of a new BMW between now and June 2020...
