in this thread, someone posts a link to the e46fanatics board as proof that the technique works (additional proof, lots of people have reported that this works on e60's, e90's, and even turnkey bmw's). this is the link to e46fanatics:
http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthr...t=54763&page=2 What interests me about that link, is the e46 gang are using a different technique for throttle adaptation reset - turn the ignition to "on" for 10 secs and then off for 10 secs. Can anyone reconcile the 10 sec trick with the 25 sec trick? Are they seperate tricks? or did the 10 sec change to the 25 sec trick? and if not, does the 10 sec trick transfer to the pushbutton bmw's? thanks.
