Now, does 'locking in a rate' has anything to do with with being required to apply for credit when ordering?
The thing is that I already applied for credit this month but will place my actual order shortly before Christmas for a mid February delivery.
As far as I know, the credit approval is only valid for 60 days and I'm planning on applying again when taking delivery.
So my question is: Are the numbers/deals locked in when you
APPLY or when you
ORDER? If it's the latter, I could potentially lock in the December rates and compare them to February and pick whatever is better.
