GT cars are a different world than M cars. Even a base 911 is a better drive and more dynamic than M at its best and that’s Porsche entry level. Porsches all feel special. M cars fee mundane and pedestrian by comparison and it has by and large always been like this and that and the gap widens.

That's an opinion, that I don't share at all.
M cars feel special and so do 911s - they are a completely different experience.

sorry, but I like driving my M4 more than my 997.1 c2s, except when on a tight winding road - that's when the 911, being lighter and smaller is a bit more fun, but not by much.
