I did but it rings same message, I got the build from dealer and is not showing this option as part of it, so now I am trying to make them turn it on, let's see how it goes. Clearly if BMW is advertising this this should be done by default then as long as you buy M50i and summer performance tires |
An update
So I have two tracks going
1. Got call from BMW executive office about the speed limiter with most nonsense answer, I was informed that the PM for X7 said that None of the M50i in USA have 155mph, wow is there anyone who can test if this is true? Clearly they market that you have 155 as long as you have the M50i and summer performance tires
2. At dealer I am now at manager level, technical team as expected had no idea what to do, so Manager will speak with BMW rep who comes once a week or so
