What's included with the warning triangle? It looks like it comes with a jack and bunch of other tools. The picture is misleading if it only comes with the Warning triangle.
Those eBay compatibility charts can be very inaccurate, I never go off of them. I always look up the part number specific to the vehicle using one of the online BMW parts catalogs. In the case of the warning triangle, it is one of the most universal BMW parts that BMW has used for years across its entire model line. In fact, BMW is not the only European manufacturer that uses the same warning triangle - Audi and VW use it as well (the one I bought for my M3 had a VW sticker on it, but is exactly the same as the BMW one I bought for the X7).

The link I provided is from the same eBay vendor that I purchased my warning triangle for the X7. But you can use the part number to do an internet search and several vendors will pop up with different prices, not just on eBay. But if you pay more than $35 or so, you are paying too much - even for a Genuine BMW one. For this particular eBay add, they are showing you the entire parts diagram (and the wrong parts diagram at that), which can be confusing. They are only selling the warning triangle (which they further state in the description). Always go off the part number, not the diagram. For the X7, you only need the warning triangle (which comes in either a red or blue case). Some cars, like my M3, needed additional brackets to mount it in the trunk. In the X7, it just slides into the compartment and is held in place with some clips and a velcro strap - which should already be in the X7.

Here is a link to the warning triangle in one of the online parts catalogs, albeit a bit hidden (it was under the M50, but none of the other X7 variants sold in the US):
