It looks like the beams are aimed fairly high. I get flashed all the time too, and then I actually flash it to let people know as you do.

There's usually some kind of adjustments to lower the beam - I might try that. I'm getting tired of getting flashed. On older models, there was a screw that could be turned on the headlight assembly. Not sure about on the g series.

Also, it's usually cars that sit lower that flash me, which is self explanatory.
