I usually do distances and not timed when I train.
I usually warm up jog a mile or so.
5 50m sprints @ 75%
5 50m sprints @ 100%
4 100m @ 100%
3 200m @ 100%
2 300m @ 100%
1 400m @ 100%
Then cool down jog.
As I get in better shape, I try to do more obviously.
