The reality is that as sales continue to grow (which is an objective of all auto groups, BMW included) they will attempt to reduce the role of the CA. Reduce the role of the CA, and the barrier to entry for becoming one becomes even lower (already super low as it is). So expect to have worse and worse CAs as time goes on.
Now as for how their managers treat customers, that's a different story. Obviously depends on where the store is located an how likely they are to be able to pull off shenanigans. High demand areas they can get away with more.
All we can do is empower ourselves to know what is fair and what isn't as far as pricing and be firm about finding something that's fair.
