Normal Coke or Diet Coke?
I ask because if it was regular Coke, then it's got loads of sugar in it which will encourage things to grow under the switch panel which may eventaully start to smell.
I know you don't fancy doing much (any) of this, but it's worth getting the switch panel out and getting it clean underneath. Steam cleaner is a top call from Lups - having read her posts, her car sounds like the interior gets a tough time (just saying...
), so she should know.
You'll need to get stuck into the carpet as well. Have fun!
