I would venture to say that there is no need to "remember" from which wheel the sensor comes from.
From the user manual, after a change of tyre or rotation or refill-up of tyre pressure, the reset is done through the TPMS module via the OBC. For the F10, there is an option to check that the TPMS is "active"...so, if presumably, if there is any fault in the sensors themselves, this should show up.
