It turns out that the 437 is a combination of a painted and diamond cut/finished wheel.
What looks like the Grey portion is actually the diamond polished part which has been coated with a tinted lacquer.The black is obviously painted.
I've been fortunate enough to find somebody who knows what they're doing.The whole process took a couple of hours and the finish is flawless.  |
Do you mind me asking who you used? I have similar damage on my X5 with similar diamond polished and lacquered rim and would also be good to know in the future for the M2 (although the missus won't be driving it much so I hold out more hope!!)
