Hi,

I know we have M2 owners in SD Country, so thought I'd start a thread focused on the southern most region / county of California.

We can use this thread for:

+ Introducing ourselves
+ Local gatherings, drives, events, either specific to M2s, or broader auto community
+ Local recommended resources (parts, services, etc.
+ Welcoming / meeting out-of-town M2 owners

I'll start.

I'm in N. County, usually around Del Mar, Encinitas, C'bad, O'side areas. My LBB 6-MT M2 is my first BMW, which I picked up earlier this month. I'd be interested in meeting up and driving through East County -- fantastic roads around Escondido, Ramona, Julian / Santa Isabelle; even out to Borrego. Although I'm still in my 1200 mi break-in period. Also wouldn't mind seeing some mods.

To date I've seen a couple other M2s buzzing around -- AW with stripes driving around Encinitas and MGM (or BSM) driving around La Costa. My 3 local dealers (Encinitas, Vista, Escondido) seem to be moving quite a few M2s, and I hope some stay local!
