Concept is based off of recent BMW M Performance Steering Wheels offering Yellow and Blue 12 O'Clock Stripe options.
Except, I wanted one that matches our interior 1M Orange stitching.
- Time Needed: <2mins. Writing this DIY took 10x longer than the actual install.
- Items Needed: 3M 703-68 Striping Tape, 1/4 inch, Bright Orange ($13) https://amzn.com/B002NEWTGO
Cut a single strip of tape equivalent to the circumference of your steering wheel's top handle.
(The 1/4" width perfectly matches the BMW Performance Steering Wheel and other widths.)
Apply to the bottom front of the 12 O'Clock position of the wheel then follow through.
