Well, I will preface this by stating that I am an Apple guy.... But usually you don't see that much disparity in functionality between iOS and Android apps in a big application like an app for a big car manufacturer like BMW. But this is clearly not the first time there has been a difference between iOS and Android apps for the same purpose. I do know the iOS app just had an update not too long ago, so Android could just be lagging behind a bit, and it is pretty common that one platform will update the app before the other - although it is usually iOS that lags behind Android.

BMW has always had a preference for Apple for some time. But maybe with the recent addition of Android Auto, that may change....
