Not sure if I saw it on Top Gear or some other show, but the latest engineering behind the fins and waves and everything inside is crazy. The performance gain from a new muffler is not just better air flow (bigger pipe) but it creates a vortex or vacuum or something and actually pulls gas through like a tornado.

Interesting i did not know the details behind it. Figured with technology today its more then just bigger is better. There is actual research put into it.
