I recommend only hand washing which will eliminate a lot of potential issues. Try P21 paint cleanser before using P21 wax. I use a orbital buffer with the P21 Paint Cleanser.
Note the cheap disposal plastic seat cover on the drivers side. I have been using these for years when washing or taking vehicle in for service. It’s just easier when you are grimy and have to move the vehicle. Keep a couple in the car if the kids get filthy.
