In the UK, I think the most popular old style Z4 was the 4 cylinder 2.0i At launch there was only the 2.5i and 3.0i but a 6 cylinder 2.2i came later, which was short-lived and replaced with the 4 cylinder 2.0i
I think initial sales will dictate what future engines might be made available.
