Two words... Market Analysis

BMW has loads of market analysts that try to predict what cars and options people will buy in each market in order to maximize their profits. This is why different vehicles and different options are available in different countries/markets - and the X7 is no different. This is not the first time (or the last) that BMW's marketing decisions don't always make sense to your average online BMW enthusiast...

The BMW online enthusiast community represents a small fraction of BMW buyers - the X7 online community is probably one of the smallest based on your typical X7 clientele profile. But the good news is that BMW seems to pay more attention to the enthusiast community based on some of the offerings in the past 5+ years or so. So all hope is not lost, but just don't hold your breath. I would hate to see so many people turn blue ......
