The M Power Tour is in Lima, Peru for three days and today I was there at "La Chutana", a race track 40kms south of Lima. There are two instructors from BMW that came down (one from mexico city and an American instructor that works in BMW's center in South Carolina).
It was amazing!! I was able to drive an M3 Coupe for 6 laps and then an M3 Sedan for another 6 laps.....it was absolutely incredible!! I had not had the chance to drive the E92 chassis.....and I really liked it!!
Unfortunately I was not able to drive a 1M in the track because yesterday some fellow destroyed the poor clutch of the demo 1M.....but the good news is that I spoke with the BMW guys and they are letting me take in my 1M tomorrow morning into the track before the last day of the M Tour starts!! So I will have the instructor in the car with me which I think will be amazing....and I will be able to see for the first time what my precious 1M can really do! So excited!
