My friend has both a GT4 and an R8. His description is that the GT4 is hard-core, with an amazing connection between car and driver, but too rough for daily duty. The R8 is a "big comfy rocket." The GT4 is hands down the better track car to him, and the R8 is better for around town/cruising.
