You all realize the 3 pedal comments pertain to both since the GT4 is only available in manual right?

Can't go wrong with either of them.

R8 likely has bottomed and will be timeless IMO but might get more attention than you want. But if you're getting a second daily, then maybe the extra attention is what this car is all about! Plus that V10 is a reason all by itself.

GT4 is great. Doesn't have the visceral feel of the V10 but the car itself is a lot more connected and go-kart like. If you want a car that feels more connected but not as brutal and showy, the GT4 would be my pick. But it does blend in quite a bit...which has both its ups and downs. The GT4 will probably feel much less dated too, and should hold it's value fairly well.

GT4 is more of an enthusiast car. Those who know, know. The R8 is more of a "look at my supercar" car. Drive them both. Think about how they'd fit into your routine and life. I was in a similar situation considering a RWS R8 vs. a GT3 and decided GT3 for a multitude of reasons.
