BMW light trucks are part of the brand and it happens to be the favored market segment of today's car buyers. BMW could offer the finest cars on the planet and their light trucks would still outsell them as consumers prefer SUV's. If you are going to throw shade at BMW you may as well call Porsche a light truck company as their ratio of SUV's sold vs cars is much, much higher.
