For tires Blizzak is generally regarded as the standard by most but like anything else read reviews and do your research. Same can be said for wheels. When in doubt you're probably safer with getting an inexpensive wheel from someplace that makes expensive wheels. So the BBS SR, for instance, works on our cars and is $215 per. That's by far the low end of BBS you can spend close to $1k per or more. Contrast that to sport edition which is tire rack's house brand they're all inexpensive. BBS won't ruin their reputation and harm sales of high end stuff by putting their name on crap, so even the inexpensive options are quality. Yes there are exceptions to that guideline but if you're not sure what you're getting that's at least a safe rule of thumb.
