I suppose you mean about the stop sale? The dealer is not allowed to sell me the car until they confim that the issues that caused the stop sale are resolved. The resoltuion is a software patch, but my dealer has not been able to confirm the exact patch with BMW. Once they get that sorted, then they can offically sell the car. |
They don't get the choice which patch to apply.
They just flash the whole car with whatever the latest available istep is, and now that the 22-07 istep is out they should just get 4.36.3 and be done with it .
