The DCT on my E92 has been almost flawless for 100+ track days over 6 seasons. It sometimes became sluggish when I shifted continuously at 8600rpm. One lap of shifting below 8000rpm brought it back. High engine RPM seemed to put a lot heat in the tranny. I never had a warning or malfunction though.
With the lower RPM of the S55, I did not expect any issues. Time will tell.
