I'd wait for full driving reviews to be released when the reviewers have it for more than a few hours on their own grounds. It was a similar story with the 8-Series prototype drives, first reviews claimed great and chatty steering feel, then many reviews once the car was in production stated dead steering feel.
That being said I do hope the first drive is right and those opinions extend to other BMW models in the future.
