Agreed on the suggestion to push the dealer on every little problem. That's the only way to get it fixed. But even more so, do realize that early X7 owners are in some way beta testers of the product, and BMW is looking to you, for what real-world problems you're finding, that they didn't encounter (or at least think was important) during testing.
Not what any of us want to hear, but BMW doesn't know what to fix, or what importance to place on it, if we don't tell them.
