I know there is a longer thread somewhere about OTA upgrades, but I could not find it this morning.
My dealer claims that the major software updates will never be OTA. They think OTA is only for apps and nav. They said that one could not download to a phone the large files needed for major updates.
I asked about OTA marketing and got a blank stare back. This is in fly-over country so perhaps major cities will be told otherwise.
