Here are some photos after I have installed the 6000k HID main beam bulbs as well as 8500k bulbs for the angel eyes. The HIDs are direct Philips replacements of the stock bulbs which I believe are 4200k - paid about $130 for the pair. I don't have a comparison pic between the 4200k and 6000k - but the photos do a pretty good job of showing the slightly blueish (but not too blue in my opinion) change from stock.

It's a completely cosmetic mod (actually the 6000k bulbs put out slightly less lumens) but a detail that I'm a bit particular about. Also, the 8500k angle eyes bulbs actually come close to matching the 6000k HIDs.
