Let's talk about how these races work:

DRIVERS:
All drivers must hold a racing license of at least International C grade. Drivers are categorised Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze according to their experience and successes

FORMAT:
3 hours or 1000km --- OR --- 24 hours race

PIT STOPS:
All three-hour races feature two mandatory pit stops where the teams must refuel, change all four tyres and the driver. Each driver must drive a maximum of one hour and 10 minutes in all categories, except if it is a two-driver line-up, where the bronze driver will have to drive one hour and fifty minutes. For the 1000km and 24 hours races there is a 65 minute maximum stint length

1000km or 6-hour race: (Nurburgring 1000)

Points for 24 hour race: (24 of Spa)
--this is split to the marks of 6 hours/ 12 hours / 25 hours

1st - 12 / 12 / 25
2nd - 9 / 9 / 18
3rd - 7 / 7 / 15
4th - 6 / 6 / 12
5th - 5 / 5 / 10
6th - 4 / 4 / 8
7th - 3 / 3 / 6
8th - 2 / 2 / 4
9th - 1 / 1 / 2
10 - 0 / 0 / 1

The Blancpain Sprint Series is 2 races of 60 minutes each
and will consist of Zandvoort, Slovakiaring, Algarve, Zolder
