As you mentioned, the roads aren't too bad since CDOT and the City of Denver are pretty proactive with plowing the streets.

However, there was that Tuesday a few weeks ago where it was just dumping in the city. I would have to say that I was a bit less comfortable in my M4 than my E92 M3 in the snow. My M4 has Blizzak LM-32s and my M3 had LM-60s. I found that the M4 was more tail happy even when I was going super gentle on the throttle. At the end of the day though, still totally manageable. I even drove up a snow packed hill a few times and there wasn't much of a fuss from the car.
