Agreed. I was shopping both. The Navigator felt luxurious and plush in some respects, but it also had some cheap plastic-feeling bits, and the overdone chrome accents on the outside just looked so cheap to me. And it’s a truck platform, so, while I didn’t drive it, you just know it’s a big floating bouncing truck feel. I drove a Yukon Denali the past 5 years. It wasn’t a bad car. But my goodness, my X7 feels like an M3 race car in comparison in terms of handling, acceleration, feel for the road, and every other driving metric. No competition.
Looks, performance, etc. Navigator has a size advantage, but not even by that much. Easy call here.
