Had the power seats in my old 3.0i and now have manual seats in my Z4M. I don't miss the power seats one bit. I've probably changed my seat position 1 or twice in the past year. And when I take my car to the dealer I specifically ask them not to change my seat position. I don't think the power seats give you more adjustments than the manual seats either.
I've heard that you save about 10lbs per seat over the power seats.
