totally subjective. If you are Mario Andretti every car is going to seem slow and dimwitted. If you're Quincy Jones, perhaps you'll be able to differentiate certain sound qualities. The only thing that matters is that you (yes you personally) like the stereo or not. If you've every listened to the base audio in a 328i loaner you know it's pretty poor. This is not the case with the F10. I found the base stereo to be more than sufficient and the premium stereo to be excellent.
So unless you're some audiophile, I doubt it will be that much of an issue.
