And it's like they don't even try to hide it anymore. Take a look at this awful Volvo pipe (and it blows my mind that all these brands at the same time makes perfectly beautiful round pipes, but the fake systems are optional extras)

I agree with you but at least we haven't gone full Audi with the completely fake exhaust tips drawn onto the bumper for no reason.
Yes, this "exhaust tip" is completely filled with black plastic and the actual exhaust dumps down under the bumper. |
Yeah and the Merc C class has the same - really really bad design
