Get the bonnet repainted - unless you suspect the dealer's ability
You get warranted work and a VERY thick coat of paint on the bonnet....
I had identical problems with a brand new Toyota Supra over 20 years ago and went into a panic thinking they wouldn't be capable of good work and would "bodge" it.
But I agreed, held my breath and the result was quite fabulous - out of this world, actually
better than new
