Here are a couple of pictures I took of my TomTom on its beanbag, as well as one without the TomTom. Obviously the attachment will not fit in the storage compartment without removing it from the beanbag, but that's hardly a problem. I keep it and the charging cable in the armrest storage compartment; the beanbag just slides back behind the door.

I did consider trying to attach the stand directly to the floor of the compartment. As far as I can see, my rubber mat is glued down, and I don't want to start pulling at it. You could potentially stick a self-adhesive suction disc to it, which may well work just as well as the beanbag, but the current setup works fine for my purposes.
