I had my tire repaired at a local tire shop. They said it was no problem to repair a run-flat as long as the damage was not to the sidewall, and that the tire has not been run on for a long way flat. They inspected it and it looked fine, so they went ahead and repaired it. I will let everyone know if I have problems with it later.
