With the M5 / M6 filters, poor fitment and also the surface area was really small when compared to the BMCs or stock filters. The M5 / M6 guys who ordered the K&N saw decreased power, higher temps and worse throttle response.
K&N also brought out a Typhoon Cold Air Kit but this threw codes like crazy and some thought it was slower than stock.
