I had to have my T-Case replaced last month in my Alpina as it was shuddering at low speeds. I honestly don’t think they were built to withstand the torque these motors produce, tuned or otherwise.

I'm happy with my XB7...no desire to ask it to do more....and it's more about the balance the vehicle provides, than brute straight line performance.....just answering the OP.
Every ///M I've owned since the '90's were nice vehicles (some better than others), but they all had similar DNA (power with a stiff ride)....the Alpina vehicles have a completely different DNA (power with an AWESOME ride)....and the quiet cabins are a bonus.
