I have had many BMWs and hate the runflats. They make the ride much harsher and the tires do not last. I have replaced the tires right after deliver on my last two cars. Then I put the RFTs up for sale. I have had no problem selling them as owners who have to return their cars after lease typically look to buy some RFTs cheap so that they do not get hit with a tire replacement fee upon return. I just ordered a 2011 550 and will be replacing the RFTs with Continental DWS. They have awesome ratings on Tirerack.com
