It means European Delivery. You can search the forum or check the BMW USA website for more info. Basically, you order via a dealer and you have to fly to Germany to pickup. You save some money by doing so, and of course you get to go to the factory.
I just ordered on Monday via dealer direct. 535Ix, premium, premium2, space gray metallic, black dakota interior, and anthracite trim. I got it for $600 over invoice. Dealer gave me a production number and just called me today that my production week is the first week of March. This will be my first BMW, so looking forward to it.
