Where I live for 2018-2019 34,3% of all cars sold has an automatic.
So 65,7% of all sold cars still has a manual here.
But that's still an increase of 100% over the last ~10 years (in 2006 17,3% of all sold cars had an automatic).
But this is of course europe. Total different cars here (way more compact cars), but here the tide is shifting too.
