If haven't already decided on the RR, you and your wife should seriously look at the MB GL450; just got a loaded '08 MB GL450 for my wife (and 2 small kids)...we love it!!!!
It has a lot more cargo space than the RR, and it has ALL the high-tech features of course. It also has the 335HP/339 lb.-ft. TQ V8 and gets 13mpg city / 19mpg hwy...we've been driving it now for about 7 weeks and been very happy with it so far. Here's some pics (ours is the silver ext / black int...last few pics)...
