The dealer didn't even list it properly on Autotrader. On the top of the page where they highlight the features it says 8-Speed Automatic Transmission.


However when you scroll down to the option packages it says Transmission: Manual along with the 19/ 20 tires that are only available as part of the Edition Handschalter Package. Also in the pictures of the Autotrader listing you can see it isn't an automatic.

It also might be an Autotrader issue. For example, every car with the Shadowline package, it’s spelled shadowloine on Autotrader

The dealers definitely stink at it, or used to. When I was looking for my 135i long ago I found manuals described as autos and autos described as manuals. You simply had to open every car's pictures and look.

Auto trader listings are horrible. If someone didn’t already know that the Frozen Green color only came with a 6MT or went through every picture they would be clueless.

At least the dealer’s website mentions manual transmission in the details of the $3500 package.
