m shift knob + boot for e92 fit e90??

yes..the title says it all..my friend has an e92 m shift knob and boot and i was wondering if it will fit the e90?? if the boot does not fit can i separate the knob and just install the knob?? thanks

Yes. Search for shift knob or Mtech....

You put the car in second gear with the car off.....and PULL HARD, but don't wack yourself in the face The other knob just pushes on....hard. Very easy. A one minute mod.

You don't have to change the shift boot. The knob comes off by itself. Leave the boot alone unless you want to change it.

yes, it does fit the sedan or coupe. Personally I prefer the e46 ZHP knob, cheaper and you don't have to mess with the boot, but it's a snap to install either way.
