x7 middle seat latch anchors

Hey guys, just wondering if a car seat will fit in the middle seat of the second row, with no issues?

Thanks

I've done it in an X6 and X5, it seems the layout in the X7 is similar. It works in the middle if you utilize the inside latches of the outer seats with no real issue, though I would imagine the manufacturers would advise against it since they're spread apart farther.

Outside of that, you'll have 2 logistic issues/ functionality restricting issues:

1. The latches are inside of the seat belt receivers, so the strap will go over the belt receiver for the outer seats making it hard to buckle. I solved it on my X6 previously by picking up some seat belt extenders off amazon.

2. You won't be able to put up either outer seat to get into the 3rd row since the latches are connecting to the inside portions of the outer seats.

Have the q7 and the middle seat has its own dedicated latch anchor.

The X7 will have the dedicated LATCH tether anchor behind the middle seat, it will not have the LATCH lower anchors for base of that seat. I suppose you could use the middle seatbelt in conjunction with the middle tether, but that never worked well for me so I always used the anchors from the other seats.
