So knowing that the the 330i and 320i both use the B48 engine in different specifications, I'd presumed that the 330e was just a 320i spec motor as they have the same power out put, but the 330e has the electric motor to bolster it.

So I was somewhat skeptical of the tuning gains being extracted by tuners already, in excess of 400bhp (with electric assistance). So I've done some digging. It appears that the 330e actually uses the 330i spec b48. Though I do not know if it has the same turbo, intercooler and injectors.
